I am totally new to this. I can't get even my first servlet to work. I was
able to get the examples to work, but that doesn't say much.

I have a page that has a text box. Eventually this will be a user ID but
for now, I just want to get the servlet to run. When I type something in
the text box and submit it, it shoud go to the servlet and simply show what
was typed in. It doesn't. The problem is that I'm developing in Eclipse
and I can't figure out how to tell Tomcat where to look. Does everything
have to be moved to the Tomcat libs? I'm certain that others aren't doing
that, but I don't know how to tie Eclipse to Java.

I am slow to grasp, so please be clear, examples would be wonderful.

Thank you!
