SMLets does require a 64-bit OS, is your workstation 64-bit? The default path
for the dll is C:\Program Files\Common Files\SMLets\SMLets.Module.dll. Also
make sure your execution policy is not set to restricted.

OK – I tried a little harder… ☺

It imported OK on my SCSM management server but I had to reference the SMLet
path directly. I tried a direct reference on my workstation but it still
failed due to a missing Service Manager .dll – probably a .dll that only exists
on the server? Or maybe only on a machine with the authoring console?

Installed the Beta 4 SMLets from Codeplex. Get this error trying to import the
module:

I’m running SCSM 2012 SP1 UR2. I have the console on my workstation – do I
need to run the SMLets install on my SCSM server instead?

This blog post from Travis should help you

http://blogs.technet.com/b/servicemanager/archive/2011/07/13/using-smlets-beta-3-post-9-deleting-objects.aspx

There is an MP that adds a console task also, I think it also requires SMlets

Since we’ve been doing a lot of testing in our “live” environment (yes, I know
this isn’t ideal but it’s my reality) I wanted to clean up a bunch of test
incidents and service requests. Is there any way to completely purge IR’s or
SR’s are are you stuck with simply cancelling and/or closing them?
