Hi,

this is possible with an SCO runbook - but not with the default activities as
they do not allow to filter on relationship changes. You can do it in
PowerShell with CMDlets but be aware of some problems with loading the SMlets
in Orchestrator.

You should be able to do that with an orchestrator runbook.
I've not created any runbooks against SCSM, so I won't be any help on specifics.

Sorry, I don't think that is possible.

Subject: [servman] Custom Notification workflow on activity assignment or
reassignment

Hi All,

I followed the instruction in the following blog and it works great but one
little problem is that an email is sent for all manual activity as soon as a
Service Request is created because it's only looking for Add relationship and
doesn't check for the manual activity status

http://blogs.technet.com/b/servicemanager/archive/2010/03/12/custom-notification-workflow-on-activity-assignment-or-reassignment.aspx

What i want to do is to have 2 conditions fullfilled prior to an email to send.

I want this

<RelationshipSubscription
RelType="$MPElement[Name='WorkItem!System.WorkItemAssignedToUser']$"
SourceType="$MPElement[Name='CoreActivity!System.WorkItem.Activity']$"
TargetType="$MPElement[Name='System!System.Domain.User']$">
                <AddRelationship />
</RelationshipSubscription>

+

I want it to also check for Status to be In progress. If it's not in progress,
I don't want it to send email.

So basically i only want an email send when there is a ADD Relationship + that
the manual activity is in progress.

Can anyone help me with the Subcription criteria?

Thanks
