By default the DW jobs run on a schedule: Extract: 5 mins Transform: 30 mins Load: 60 mins
So the data could take anywhere from 1-2 minutes (if there is a very small volume of data to be moved and the jobs all happened to be timed to run one right after the other) to up to 95 minutes (if the jobs are scheduled such that the one job completes right before the next one). On average you can expect the data to take about 30-45 minutes to get from SCSM to the DWDataMart. There is another job that loads data into the cubes. That runs 1/day. You can change the frequency of the jobs but be careful that you don't run them so often that they affect performace. There is a script I created on the TechNet Gallery to run all of the DW jobs and cube loading jobs in sequence. It conceptually is similar to Mihai's that is linked to below. http://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/PowerShell-Script-to-Run-a4a2081c From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Rob Plank Sent: Wednesday, January 8, 2014 8:40 AM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: [servman] Incidents/Requests replication to DWDataMart You need to ensure that all of the DW jobs are running successful, once they have all run in the correct order you should see data in the DWDatamart DB. This blog post explains the order and has a script that you can use to kick off the jobs. http://blogs.technet.com/b/mihai/archive/2013/07/03/resetting-and-running-the-service-manager-data-warehouse-jobs-separately.aspx if one of the jobs are stuck you can use the get-scdwjobmodule cmdlet to find the job module that is holding up the processing. Is there a way to force this synch manually? Thank you,
