Client-based SET1.0 is dead. It has only reached about 0.1% of the projections.
Maybe you should redirect the research task to cover payment methods over the internet?
Or try to find out why SET 1.0 failed. Hints:
- Fraud is not a major issue in the US
- Very expensive
- Complicated client solution
- Slow
- Not very complient with Internet-banks which actually has been a huge success
Try to get hold of 3D SET information which at least technically looks like a winner.
Note that credit-card transactions over the Internet may redundant in
10 years or so if everybody is on-line and the number of currencies goes
down.
