I coulda guessed it wouldn't be long before the US Gov. took a serious
interest in SETI, after all it must protect US interests.

For those who, rightly, expressed concern about "external software on Gov't
machines" ... good catch, but my "other job" not the one I sent out this
E-mail from (state.gov) is where I am crunching. For I am more than aware
of the U.S. Gov't fear of "others" getting into the system ... let alone
trying to explain "foreign signals" from space vice Russia for once. Guess I
should send out further from a commercial account.
