I'm part of planning a Plone portal implementation which will, it is
hoped, store a considerable amount of externally-generated content (Word
files, PDFs, etc.) as the use of the portal grows.
What considerations should be taken into account for managing such
content? Should the binary files/objects be stored outside the ZODB, and
if so which products or mechanisms would be recommended, something like
DirectoryStorage, for example?
