Just for the archives, for the rare case where someone makes the same mistakes I made.
On OpenBSD 4.7 -stable, I installed python 2.6.3p1 and manually installed PIL 1.1.7 within the Plone virtualenv. That worked. So I built the python 2.6 flavor of PIL from ports and that also worked. I am no longer able to reproduce the errors. Existing content can be edited and new content added. On OpenBSD 4.8 -current, I am testing with python-2.6.5 and python-2.6.6. The error still exists on 4.8 -current but I must have made a mistake compiling the binaries or the ports. Since 4.8 is still in development please ignore anything I mentioned about 4.8. I hope to not bother you till Plone 5!! Thanks again, Vijay On 9/21/10, Vijay Sankar <[email protected]> wrote: > Oops, I spoke too soon.
