Hey all, I have a nice Plone instance running on a development laptop as well as a test server. No issues with buildout or running any of the services.
I've migrated over the codebase onto a production box. On the production box I've: - Installed python 2.6 - Installed PIL for 2.6 - Installed win32 extensions for 2.6 I've done a bootstrap to link the plone instance to python 2.6 (as opposed to 2.4 which is also on the box from an old plone 3 instance). I've done a buildout which worked fine, no errors. Issue now is that trying to run the zeoservice or zope instances yield: "Error starting service: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion." The error appears IMMEDIATELY, even though windows error log shows that it timed out after 30000ms. I have run a buildout for a debug instance which runs zope + zeo, and that runs fine when i issue \bin\instance fg. But Running buildout for the production just refused to work. Any tips? -- View this message in context: http://plone.293351.n2.nabble.com/Plone-issues-on-windows-2003-server-tp5579276p5579276.html Sent from the Installation, Setup, Upgrades mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ Setup mailing list [email protected] http://lists.plone.org/mailman/listinfo/setup
