OK, so I used the staticxml recipe at http://pypi.python.org/pypi/xdv.
Specifically, i added the following to my buildout.
[buildout]
# lxml should be first in the parts list
parts =
lxml
xdv
[lxml]
recipe = z3c.recipe.staticlxml
egg = lxml
libxml2-url = http://xmlsoft.org/sources/libxml2-2.7.7.tar.gz
libxslt-url = http://xmlsoft.org/sources/libxslt-1.1.26.tar.gz
[xdv]
recipe = zc.recipe.egg
eggs = xdv
Once i did that and it completed, i added the collective.xdv lines to my
buildout found at:
http://plone.org/products/collective.xdv
I ran buildout again, started Plone and the xdv product was in my Site Setup
-> Add-Ons and it installed just fine.
