When I do this on my OS X 10.6.4 platform, I wind up with an egg:
lxml-2.2.6-py2.6-macosx-10.4-i386.egg
which fails at instance startup with:
<very long traceback ending in...>
ImportError:
dlopen(/Applications/Plone/buildout-cache/eggs/lxml-2.2.6-py2.6-macosx-10.4-i386.egg/lxml/etree.so,
2): no suitable image found. Did find:
/Applications/Plone/buildout-cache/eggs/lxml-2.2.6-py2.6-macosx-10.4-i386.egg/lxml/etree.so:
mach-o, but wrong architecture
