Hi Manuel,

Yes, sure. It will take me some time as I am focusing now in the non dpdk
version. As soon as I test it I will let you know.

Best Regards,

Miguel Ángel.

Hey,

Is ovs-dpdk working with NSH? I thought there was a bug there. @Miguel Angel:
If you try that one, it would be very appreciated if you can inform us if it
works. I'd love to add DPDK support in OPNFV scenarios.

Thanks,

Manuel

For ovs, it is enough, you need to change Vagrantfile.

Thanks Yi for your prompt answer. I will try to run this in a laptop with 16GB
RAM only. Since OVS requires much less memory than VPP, Do you think 2 GB per
VM (instead of 4GB) is reasonable?

Best Regards,
Miguel Ángel.

sfc104 also can support NSH proxy by using ovs or ovs DPDK.

$ ./run_demo.sh --nshproxy ovs

or

$ ./run_demo.sh --nshproxy ovs_dpdk

Subject: [sfc-dev] NSH Proxy with SFC103?

Hi everyone!

I am trying to have a very basic demo of SFC with a real firewall not
supporting NSH, thus NSH proxy is required.

I wanted to use SFC103 as a start but I am afraid it is not possible due to
lack of NSH Proxy support.

I guess one option is to use SFC104 with VPP but I wonder if it is possible to
use SFC103 instead (OVS) with [0] as pointed by Danny Zhou in [1]?

Thank you!

Miguel Ángel.
