In the current Fluoring release, we (Jaime Camaaño) will be migrating the ODL OpenFlow plugin to use OVS 2.9, where NSH is officially supported. Currently ODL only supports NSH from OVS 2.6 + Yi Yang patch.
We will be following a 2-step process for this migration: (this approach will simplify dealing with simultaneous patches from multiple projects) Step 1: - Make changes to the ODL OpenFlow plugin to use the OVS 2.9 NSH API - Simultaneously/independently change SFC CSIT to use OVS 2.9 Step 2: Change SFC, GBP, and Netvirt to not use VXGPE + Ether + NSH and use only VXGPE + NSH Later we'll replace the push/pop_nsh actions with encap/decap Regards, Brady
