Hi Jaime,
I restarted my laptop and recreated all the network subnet ports and VM . then I created SFC using below command . I see odl neutron configuration data has all the value . All the networking seems fine for the VM . I don’t see any error in the ODL log now. This ODL is installed by Devstack under /opt/stack/opendaylight. So this is not shared folder. Everything seems fine . But I don’t SFC is working . neutron port-pair-create PP1 --ingress p2 --egress p3 neutron port-pair-create PP2 --ingress p4 --egress p5 neutron port-pair-group-create --port-pair PP1 PPG1 neutron port-pair-group-create --port-pair PP2 PPG2 neutron flow-classifier-create --source-ip-prefix 20.0.0.3/32 --destination-ip-prefix 20.0.0.8/32 --logical-source-port p1 FC1 neutron port-chain-create --port-pair-group PPG1 --port-pair-group PPG2 --flow-classifier FC1 PC1 ODL Neutron configuration data :- http://paste.openstack.org/show/722717/ ODL Neutron Operational data :- http://paste.openstack.org/show/722718/ ODL get-ITEF-Interface :- http://paste.openstack.org/show/722719/ Thanks Om Prakash -----Original Message----- From: Jaime Caamaño Ruiz [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, June 05, 2018 5:31 AM To: PRAKASH, OM <[email protected]>; om prakash <[email protected]> Cc: SINGH, ABHIJEET K <[email protected]>; FREEMAN, BRIAN D <[email protected]>; [email protected]; [email protected] Subject: Re: [sfc-dev] Opendaylight support for networking-sfc Hi Thats a pretty low level problem. If you are running ODL in a VirtualBox VM, make sure it is not under a shared folder. Theres is a bug in VB shared folders that make some specific io filesystem operations to fail. Although when this happens, ODL features dont even install correctly and I see you are past that already. Do yo have VM networking working normally, without SFC? BR Jaime.
