Hi,
I have downloaded the source code from the site (0.9.11), and
have a few questions.
First, and by far the most important, I can not find a list
of build requirements (other libraries and packages) anywhere.
I really think they should be listed on the source download
page (a failed first attempt at running ./configure seems to
indicate that pulseaudio is required).
I have unpacked the code looking for them. I found a mention
of qt-3.3.6 in one of the READMEs. The VERSION file does not
contain the correct version. The ChangeLog ends on 20081030,
The NEWS file contains an item just a couple of months old,
but with a four year gap before that.
The web site mentions a kde client, and it appears that one
existed in the past (I assume for kde 3). Will there be a
client for kde 4, and if so, when? In the meantime, is there
any manual about how to use sflphone from the command line?
I realize that spending effort on programming rather than on
documentation advances the product more quickly, but in this
case, it seems to me that some basic information about getting
sflphone installed would really help.
