None of that would work for me, since I don't use any package
manager - I compile everything from source. I can probably
track most things down from here, but some items raise more
questions than they answer ("libpcre3"? - the current version
is 8.12, is "uuid-dev" the library included with util-linux, I
have never heard of "ccgnu2", but, obviously, I have the whole
gnu gcc compiler collection installed).
