Hi Greg.

IAX encryption is not very mature, explaining the apparent lack of
softphones/devices supporting it.

However, there exists a draft at http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-guy-iax-05

We might look at it in the future, but having dealt with immature
protocols/RFCs in the past, it
is not always beneficial in terms of interoperability to jump the wagon right
away.

Thank you,
Pierre-Luc Bacon

Subject: [SFLphone] [Technical] SFLPhone and IAX2 Encryption

Greg Miell sent a message using the contact form at
http://www.sflphone.org/contact.

Hello,

Will SFLPhone be supporting IAX2 Encryption in the near future? I can't find
any softphones that currently support this and would much prefer my remote
extensions to use IAX2 with encryption.

Kind Regards,

Greg
