I'm using sflphone 1.3.0 on debian unstable. People I call complain
about low audio quality. I am using sipgate, and they list the following
codecs¹

G.729 - ~ 12 kbit/s
G.711 - ~ 100 kbit/s
GSM - 13 - 20 kbit/s
G.726 - 16 - 40 kbit/s

However, in my codec list in sflphone-client-kde (screenshot:
https://phihag.de/2014/sflphone-codecs.png ), I can only select GSM.

How do I get the better codecs? I'd assume that G.711 offers the best
quality on a 1GBit/s link, doesn't it?

Best,

Philipp
