Hi Phil,

From what I can see, the daemon seems to not being able to open up a channel to
your camera for a reason we can't figure out without more output. Maybe try
another camera.

Be advised that SFLphone is no longer being developed, since we now have moved
the project to Ring. It is based on SFLphone but we revamped a lot of things.

Take a look here: http://ring.cx

Mailing list is moving as well:

Regards,

Objet: [SFLphone] SFLphone 1.4.1 - daemon not starting

I've had sflphone working once, a long time ago, but remain interested
in it.

I can't currently get the daemon running on Debian jessie... this
happens:

SFLphone Daemon 1.4.1, by Savoir-Faire Linux 2004-2014
http://www.sflphone.org/
g729: did not open shared lib
sflphoned: video_device_impl.cpp:497: const
sfl_video::VideoV4l2Channel&
sfl_video::VideoDeviceImpl::getChannel(const string&) const: Assertion
`not channels_.empty()' failed.
zsh:
abort      /usr/lib/sflphone/sflphoned

What is stopping it working?
