well the problem persists - it seems not to be related to the SGD Web
server port change since if i only stop the SGD Serevr
(/etc/rc3.d/S90Tarantella) network connectivity gets restored.
if that matters... the machine's ethernet card is a build-in "Broadcom
Corporation NetXtreme BCM5751 Gigabit Ethernet PCI Express" and i use
Broadcom's BRCMbcme driver (version v8.2.10).

P.S. are there any patches available for SGD 4.20.xxx ? it seems that
www.tarantella.com is down and i can't find anything in sunsolve.sun.com.
