Hallo,
On some of the app-servers of our SSGD environment
we have a curious effect regarding envvar LD_LIBRARY_PATH:
Only if one logs in via SSGD the envvar LD_LIBRARY_PATH is
set (reset) to value
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib
Login via SSH does not modify LD_LIBRARY_PATH. Also I did
not found any setenvs/exports in systems scripts.
I am not sure whether SSGD is responsible for this behavior
but it would help if anyone could clarify the order
of execution of login scripts, how login works in detail
e.g.:
- linux OS /etc/csh.cshrc
- /etc/csh.login
- SSGD login script
- user login/cshrc (does not exist in our case)
AND
how I can debug login script execution.
For info: the application is a simple xterm,
the appserver OS is RHEL3/4
Many thanks,
