Laura ..

you don't need any special configuration of your LDAP server to make this work.. other than maybe creating a dedicated user that SGD can log in as.

This doc is very useful for troubleshooting LDAP issues:
http://docs.sun.com/source/820-1088/ldap_login_fail.html

If the numerous debug steps don't help, fall back on the log filter output .. note the login filters at the top of that page. Add filters like "server/login/*:login%%PID%%.log" and  "server/ldap/*:login%%PID%%.log". Be sure to exclude quotes (I put them in here for clarity). If you use the same filename the messages get interleaved nicely which makes it much easier to read than having 2 files to bounce between.

You can check the output from those filters in "/opt/tarantella/var/log/login<PID>.log".

Hope this helps..
Curtis.

I'm testing authentication LDAP with SSGD 4.20 but it can't work fine. I have a Linux operating system and I only have full, in the array manager, the address host and user and password of my LDAP server. Should I configure any files of LDAP server??
