Following is their FAQ about one-way cable modem:
2. What types of cable modems do Sybergen's products work
with?
Two-way cable modems work fine with SyGate. Most one-way
cable modems will not work with SyGate, however some one-way
cable modems such as the Motorola Surfboard 1200 will work
because they have built in analog modem and cable
functionality and operate from the computer as a two-way
device.
