Doubting my own sanity, I pulled the back off my unit. Indeed, they are
D-Link cards (model DE220P) that use the NE2000 drivers. I have a dial-up
version that does use a LinkSys using the NE2000 drivers, but the model is
LNE2000T. I KNOW I had some of those LNE cards, but I am beginning to think
I remember having the same problem you had and replacing them with the
D-Link cards and using them in some other (non-STN) machines. Oh well..sorry
for the confusion. Glad you got it all worked out.
