Just recently installed Charter Pipeline Cable modem service. I have not
been able to get it working with STN. I am using another solution but would
like to go back to STN a product that has served me well. Here is the
problem:
I cannot seem to get two NICs to work together. STN sees both of them but
refuses to use the one that is hooked to the cable modem. I know the NIC's
are good as they both work with Freesco. The cable modem is a 3com.
I am using the same box as I used for a couple years with STN and a modem. I
have had slightly better luck working with a NE2000 clone and one 3com 509
card. Freesco sees both but STN only sees the NE2000 clone. I imagine if I
could get this to work I could get the DHCP stuff figured out...
If someone has this working I would appreciate advice.....
