Wait. Why setup Sygate?
If you "only once computer .... After that same problem", then you know
the problem is either with the modem or provider.
If one computer connected directly to the modem falls off the internet
after some time, then there really isn't anything else to test. Unless
of course, you think the problem lies with this one computer. Then you
may want to test just another box connected to the same modem and wait
and see if it falls off in the same amount of time. If both computers
independently fall off the internet when exlusively connected to the
modem - then it's the modem or provider - and not STN or the computers.
Testing Sygate just throws another variable into the equation. I would
expect it to fall off too. But go ahead and test if it makes you happy.
You suspected the modem - get another modem.
