[ShareTheNet] Telnetting to STN box?

Could support be implemented so that we could telnet to the STN 
box and execute commands?  Maybe even have different ports for 
different terminals, something like this:

Alt+F1 -> Port 1
Alt+F2 -> Port 2
Alt+F3 -> Port 3

etc.

Of course, there should probably be some password protection so 
that only authorized users can modify settings.
