If I have a LINUX driver for a Token Ring card - is there any reason
why I could not build an STN system that routed from ETHERNET to
TOKENRING and back again ????????

Perhaps (as a kludge) I could rename the TR driver to be one of (my)
unused ETHERNET drivers so that it gets put on the diskette, but it
occurred to me that there may be association between the driver name
and some aspects of its run time implementation (MTU springs to mind -
TR can be up to 16k (tho' 2k on LINUX is more usual!))

If possible this could mean a sale at work to solve a problem with
linking some ENET workstations into the main TR ring.

Any suggestions how I might kludge up a test for this idea ??

Rgds,
Bob
