According to John, this was fixed with GUI-based STN Disk builder found
in final release version of STN 2.1. Although I haven't confirmed
myself that it was fixed, assuming it was, you shouldn't have to change
anything in "envi" file if you build your disk using the most recent
version of STN.

I would:

- get the final release of STN 2.1
- uninstall any previous version
- install 2.1 GUI
- Build a NEW STN disk (do a full format on the floppy first)
- try it again

If RealTek is still not found, try removing the 3COM adapter and see if
it can be found then. If RealTek 8139 still can't found when it is the
ONLY adapter installed, send me a copy of your envi file.

I always use two RealTek 8139 cards when building an STN box. I don't
mix and match models/brands. Although I have previously tested various
mixes of Tulip-based cards, RealTek 8029, and 8139's, I never use 3COM
cards. Regardless, I doubt that the fact you are using a 3COM is the
source of your problem, but you may have to make a few other adjustments
to get both cards to be recognized properly in that computer.

I prefer to avoid those type of hassles - $12 (US) will buy you another
RealTek 8139 based card. (although it may be more since your in Belgium)

HTH,

Steve
