The modem will dial in to the ISP, and it will connect.
But just after thisw I've been getting this error
message and it also says that "all had bit 7 set to
0".
It the docs it says that there is something wrong with
the INIT string. I've tried AT&F, AT&F1, AT&F2, AT&FM0,
even ATZ. None of these help. The modem is a USR/3com
56K v.90 internal. I have it in a 486/33 clone. I'm
sure it is not a Winmodem.
I've noticed that STN will echo AT&F^M^M - two return
characters instead of one..this mean anything?
Nevertheless, I still get the OK from the modem.
Strangely, it was working with AT&FM0 on Saturday, but
it just decided not to work anymore.
Any ideas? BTW I'm using Share the Net 2.1.0
