I am running STN 2.1.3 on a 486/33 with 8MB, and each time
I renew a DHCP lease (using "ipconfig /renew" on Win98),
STN adds another entry to the list of DHCP leases, eg:
lease 192.168.0.100 {
starts 3 1999/10/13 17:46:10;
ends 4 1999/10/14 01:46:10;
hardware ethernet 00:50:ba:02:18:0f;
uid 01:00:50:ba:02:18:0f;
client-hostname "Phil";
}
lease 192.168.0.100 {
starts 3 1999/10/13 18:19:10;
ends 4 1999/10/14 02:19:10;
hardware ethernet 00:50:ba:02:18:0f;
uid 01:00:50:ba:02:18:0f;
client-hostname "Phil";
}
lease 192.168.0.100 {
starts 3 1999/10/13 18:19:21;
ends 4 1999/10/14 02:19:21;
hardware ethernet 00:50:ba:02:18:0f;
uid 01:00:50:ba:02:18:0f;
client-hostname "Phil";
}
Is this a problem? If STN uses the first matching entry in
the table and my client uses the latest expiry time, then at
02:00 it may appear that the client has no lease.
TIA, Phil
