I started out using STN v2.1.3, the newest version. After it
worked HORRIBLY with icq (disconnects/reconnects, at times not
connecting at all), I asked for assistance. Many people pointed me
in the direction of downgrading to 2.1.0
I installed v 2.1.0, and to my satisfaction, icq worked
beautifully. My passive ftp server, however, is a different story. It
stopped working alltogether.
2.1.3: passive ftp works, icq doesn't
2.1.0: icq works, passive ftp doesn't
Does anybody have any advice on how/why this is the way it is, or
what I can do about it? It sucks to have to switch disks depending
on what kind of access I want, I see no reason why both are not
possible. Are the people at sharethenet working on adding a
socks5 server, or is there one available? Or is whatever changed
between 2.1.0 and 2.1.3 that made icq stop working going to be
changed back? Thank you all for your help and continuing support!
