Hi Curt,
As the machine is booting, you should have some lines that look similar to
the following:
ne.c:v1.10 9/23/94 Donald Becker ([EMAIL PROTECTED])
NE*000 ethercard probe at 0x340: 00 40 05 19 27 84
eth0: NE2000 found at 0x340, using IRQ 10.
NE*000 ethercard probe at 0x300: 00 40 33 d0 f7 da
eth1: NE2000 found at 0x300, using IRQ 11.
If both sets don't show up, then one of your NICs is not being properly
initialized. If they do both show up, then it's probably a
mis-configuration of your external ethernet. Perhaps the IP address or
network mask is incorrect.
