we have released Sharity 3 beta 3, the second public beta version of our new CIFS client for Unix. All Sharity 3 betas come with a free expiring license key.

This version fixes numerous bugs (hangs and crashes) in the previous beta. The file system engine should be stable now: Tests with random data and random access patterns bring up no bugs in Sharity.
Please download this beta and test it in your environment. Installation is easy, the beta can even coexist with Sharity 2 on the same machine. You decide which version you use on a case to case and access to access basis.
If you install the beta, please tell us about your experiences and opinions. You can either post them to the beta tester mailing list or mail them directly to us.
