Dear Sharity Users, we have released Sharity 2.10 today. This is a bugfix release.
The following has been changed since 2.9:
Bugs fixed:
* Better compatibility with CIFS protocol (fixed misbehavior in
transaction sub-protocol). This protocol bug was tolerated by all
supported servers.
* Fixed bug in creation of faked symbolic links (not all platforms
were affected).
* Fixed crash on HUP signal (not all platforms were affected).
* Fake file locking when this option is available in the operating system
kernel.
Binaries are available at
http://www.obdev.at/products/sharity/download.html
except for Mac OS X, binaries for this platform will follow later (none of the bugs above affected Mac OS X anyway).
As usual, upgrades for current users of 2.x versions are free: The old license key works for the new version, too.
Note to HP-UX users: We don't have an HP-UX 10.20 machine available for testing. The 10.20 binaries have been compiled in a backward compatible environment. If you experience any problems with this version, please contact us.
