Hi,
I am a student at ASU. I have some problem with the sharity so
desribing below:
I am trying to get files from NTFS to Solaris 4 machine.
I am using following version of sharity (tried all):
Sharity.2.8.solaris-8-9-sun4u.tar.gz
Sharity.2.8.solaris-2.6.1-7-sun4u.tar.gz
Sharity.2.7.1.solaris-8-9-sun4u.tar.gz
Sharity.2.7.1.solaris-2.6.1-7-sun4u.tar.gz
Now the problem is, I am able to get all files/folders from server
tot he solaris machine, but the file got corrupted on the way. So
I get corrupted file on solaris machine.
I think I am doing some mistake in the configuration files.
1. Do i need to set anything in "sharity.cfg" file.
From where it get value of %globaldir%, %privatedir%...??
2. Do I need to do any setup at GUI options.
I have setup wins = 255.255.255.255
and domain name is correct (because i m able to get files).
3. Some errors I observed are:
when reboot the machine:
-sharity.pid not found (actually no sucy file exist at
/usr/local/sharity/var)
-also some other errors like path not found or so, as i
think
%globaldir% etc are not defined anywhere.
when run cifslogin:
-SysNetwork InterfaceL Ioctl(I, SIOCGIFFLAGS) [G] - No such
device or address
Please let me know, what should I do in this situation. Do let
me know if you need more info.
