ofcourse, i mentioned something like that before; the tool that generates the code would write initialisation code, the initialisation code would check the hardware resource manager if certain ports / memory areas are available etc. etc. for example the code in the properties could, depending on our choices and design of the resource manager, call a function in the resource manager to send data to/receive data from a certain io port.. but untill we actually have a resource manager (or i should say; when we actually need one) we could let the code generator just put in the IO code directly.. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
