And to make it clear, (not to Chad, but to lurkers and Jonathan), we chose
GPL 3 with Classpath Linking Exception, through a democratic process (that
Chad recommended we set up), and I *personally* most favored what we ended
up with because I felt it was most conducive to both attracting contributors
and to protecting the rights of the contributors and end-users.

And the only reason we settled on what we did was because we used a ranked
voting procedure. It wasn't everyone's top choice, but its honestly the
closest to what we could all compromise on.

Yea Jonathan, they can't spy on us if they disappear. ;-P But seriously,
open-source is a community, and only rarely is competitive. I mean, thats
what its all about, isn't it? Working together? (And preserving the right to
do so?)

I'm sure down the road, as both CosmOS and SharpOS evolve, if we are lucky,
we will solve certain problems the same way, which might create an inherent
compatibility. Not to mention, they're both IL OSes anyway.

Chad: BTW, I'm impressed with the progress you've made, especially with a
smaller contributor base. I haven't checked out your code, but you get kudos
for the great progress!
