I think that neither side should "go out of their way" right now to make something "compatible". What I'd suggest - based on my experience that will work best is that we simply "keep in touch" and "keep informed". As we see things that "fit" or are useful we approach them one by one. I don't think "actively finding something" for "something's sake" will prove productive.
