Sander, This doesn't have anything to do with a monolithic device manager. We still need the Bus classes/drivers. The attributes are only for descriptive purposes, so that the OS knows what kind of benefits a driver may provide. Without the attributes, we'd have to load and probe *all* drivers, which is scary at best.
