What exactly is the "DiagnosticTool", and is it still used/relevant? I'm asking because Phil had some problems to get the kernel side of it to work with the new driver model, and that's the main reason he hasn't committed his changes yet. If it's not used anymore, or relevant, it's support could be removed from the kernel and Phil can commit his changes. Otherwise, whomever uses it, can help him out getting it back to work?
