On my 85 Shelby Charger, I have a weird problem, but it may be common too. I only notice it at night with the headlights on, but when I accelerate, and the turbo starts to spool, the headlights dim for about a second (on brights or dims). The other day I got to watching the volt meter when this happens, and it does drop and come right back up. I thought maybe it was the tension of the belt on the alternator, but it seems to be tight, and it was an almost brand new belt. Anyone have any ideas, or is this just typical of these cars? I don't drive it at night much, so I just have never really noticed it.
