I was specifically concerned about a chopped gbody.  The factory 
convertible cars are designed that way and should be fine.  It is a 
seperate issue since the gbody was never meant to be a convertible.

I am not sure if the chopped shadows are a fair comparison either since 
tey are a later platform that should be stiffer.
