My Haynes manual says I can remove the "belt moulding" (trim piece at the
bottom of the window) from the door, once I roll down the window. When I roll
the window down, I can access the front two screws that hold the belt molding
in place, but not the back three. What's the trick here? I'm thinking I have
to remove the front and rear "run channels", then pull the glass off the
regulator...

... which brings us to my next question; How do I get the "sliders"
(plastic gizmoes that guide the window in the "run channel") out of the run
channel (metal tracks that the glass "runs" in)? Haynes says to use special
tool C-4867 from Miller Tool Co. Miller Tool Co. says it is no longer
available. Can I use a plastic spatula (Bondo spreader) to pry them out?

    Thanks.

    Larry
