I'm having a friend of mine fix the ailing driver side door assembly on my 1979 Omni. The outer door handle is unbroken but the inside mechanism that's behind the striker assembly is rusted out causing the door not to engage properly.
The only Omni/Horizon's in the local junkyards are missing the door insides and I don't have any extra Omni doors. Does anyone have an rusted out door they could grab that assembly off of? It's pretty small assembly and easy to mail out.
