Hello, I was wondering if anyone knew if the "lifters" are the same on a roller
cam engine versus a solid rocker cam engine. I have a 89 turbo 2.2 making
excessive valve train noise at idle but once the idle is increased just a bit,
it goes away and remains quiet until it idles back down again. the engine has
144,000 on it runs like a top. its just its embarrassing to hear this noise
while sitting at idle. I was thinking maybe replacing these might help quiet it
down. Thank you in advance!Darrell
