You will need to wire in the charge air temperature (CAT) connector. It
screws into the intake manifold. Some folks drill and tap the boss cast
into the existing T1 manifold to do this. However, you can also go the
route of getting a new chip for the computer that ignores this device. At
least, that's what I have been told. I have an '88 CSX-T that I am
upgrading to T2. I too have a Daytona Shelby T2 computer from an '88. I
also have a T2 intake (Thanks Tim) to swap on and the CAT sensor with some
of the wiring. I just need to know which 2 pins on the computer need to be
added. If you find that out, LMK. Thanks. Also, make sure you also change
the wastegate solenoids over on the passenger side by the shock tower.
They are different as well. The air line configuration from the turbo to
this wastegate solenoid package is also different. Some folks ignore this
and grainger valve it, but I'm trying for that stock look. I have already
got dibs on that T2 airbox Matt is selling when he gets back from
vacation. Good Luck.
