There in some inverse torx bolts in the column that loosen up over time. You will need the sockets for these. Disconnect the battery, remove the air bag and turn signal switch, the plastic surround on the steering column and the ignition key lock and you should be able to get to them. You may have to turn the wheel to get to all of them, there are 3 or 4, I can't remember. It is a pretty straight forward job. Once I tightened mine I did not have another problem.

To: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> Message-ID: <[email protected]> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" I have an 89 daytona shelby TII/555, my tilt steering broke all loose again. This is my second steering column. Can I change it to a non-tilt steering column? If so, which year car and model is compatible with my car? _________________________________________________________________ Hotmail: Trusted email with powerful SPAM protection. http://clk.atdmt.com/GBL/go/177141665/direct/01/ ____________________________________________________________ Criminal Lawyer Criminal Lawyers - Click here. http://thirdpartyoffers.juno.com/TGL2131/c?cp=tBoX5rEK0r2XHyuPWzSkrAAAJz1iDvk3DIZKMzdiRus-mPJ8AAYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAiFgAAAAA= ___________REMOVE-FOOTER-WHEN-REPLYING_________ ShelbyDodge mailing list [email protected] http://www.imagilist.com/mailman/listinfo/shelbydodge
