I have a 523 transmission on an 84 Daytona Turbo Z w/2.5.
New shifter bushings have been installed. I have pinned the
transmission in place and set the shifter in place. After
that I unpinned the transmission and can only get 1-4th and
Reverse. I try moving the linkage manually, but with no luck
getting all 6 gears. If I move the shifter further one way I
lose reverse and 5th. If I move it the opposite way, I lose
1st and sometimes 2nd. I cannot find the happy medium.
Am I doing something wrong? Any pointers?
