Ive done them in about 45mins a side, I've used a slide hammer to pull the
hub out, but I've never had the bearing coming out with the hub, so end up
having to press them out with a shop press or using a hammer and chisel to
cut the race out of the knuckle. I bought the Harbor freight FWD bearing
adapters and it helps to install them. But I have not found any way to pull
the hub with it, if you can get the hub out, the HF kit does allow you to
push the bearing and race out of the knuckle and back. But I've always had
to remove the knuckle from the car in any case. So alignment is needed after
the job is done..

Subject: SD> wheel bearings Shelby Lancer

Hi All
Well its time to change the front bearings on my Shelby Lancer, anyone out
in Shelby land know any tricks or tips. I picked up new bearing and hub
combo kits. Autozone will lend me a bearing puller with a slide hammer is
this
